Indoor Rejuvenation: A Little Rock Entrepreneur Combines Nature's Elements With Unique Decor
(Originally published in the September 2005 issue of At Home In Arkansas)
Two of the most powerful, yet relaxing and rejuvenating elements in nature are fire and water, and Jerry Wheeler, president of the newly-formed Little Rock-based company Hearthfalls, has creatively developed a way to bring the two worlds together in the home. After building outdoor water features for several years, Wheeler had the idea to bring the two worlds together in the home. "One Spring, I realized that my fireplace would be dead space for several months, and that's when I thought to place a water feature in front of it," he says.
“I'm finding that people love the idea of using the fireplace space year round.”
— Jerry C. Wheeler,
President of Hearthfalls, Inc.
Hearthfalls is precisely crafted not to overflow or splash on the surrounding
floor, and since it constantly circulates the water, it seldom needs re-filling.
There's even a remote control to easily change the color and water flow from
across the room, and the mantel is available in variety of marble textures
and colors. Hearthfalls was recently featured on HGTV's I Want
That! show, and Wheeler has seen an overwhelming response. "I'm finding
that people love the idea of using the fireplace space year round," he says.
"Also, this is a great option for condos, apartments, or even hotel suites."
